Held from 23-24 November 2024, the conference focused on the theme: “Workers Study Conference on Informality and Solidarity: Solidarity Amidst the Changing Nature of Work in Asia and the Pacific.”
On November 24, the Initiatives for Workers Solidarity – Asia Pacific was launched in a solidarity program that closed the Workers Study Conference on informal labour.
The sacking followed the retrenchment of more than 500 workers of the company in the past year in accordance with the bosses plan for cost optimization and automation.
